Kimberly Fenton-Zeira is a board certified pediatric critical care medicine physician with over twenty years of experience who finds passion in medicine but also within leadership and building organizations to connect with others.
Kimberly completed her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, followed by earning her Doctor of Medicine at the American Program at Tel Aviv University. She completed her residency in pediatrics at NYU University Medical Center where she also served as chief resident. She followed with a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children’s National Medical Center, in D.C. Following training, she settled in Long Island, NY and worked as faculty at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine where she served as a Residency Program Director where she turned a struggling program into a thriving and successful nationally recognized one.
In 2016 she re-located to Winter Park, FL for an opportunity to build and lead a new model of pediatric critical care medicine in Orlando, FL at what is now called AdventHealth for Children. She now serves as the Medical Director of Pediatric Transport across a 30+ hospital network and serves as the current Chief of Staff of the children’s hospital.
Kimberly has held numerous academic faculty appointment including at NYU, George Washington University, Stony Brook Medicine and currently serves as voluntary faculty at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Loma Linda University. Kimberly has also served on numerous national committees in the Society of Critical Care Medicine is a fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and is the recipient two Presidential Citations from the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and is a parent of 3 busy teenagers. She enjoys taking long walks with her 3 dogs, exploring Florida beaches and relaxing pool side at home.
